GIFT OF THE WEEK: Kabelo Mabalane - The Music Industry Evangelist

One of my favourite Bible scriptures is 1 Peter 4:10: "God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another."

Kabelo Mabalane, popularly know as Bouga Luv to many South African music lovers. Mabalane came to the limelight in the late nineties as he was part of a kwaito music group, TKZee. In many interviews, Mabalane has confessed to taking drugs and a sinful lifetsyle during those years. 

Through of the TKZee members, Zwai Bala, Kabelo was introduced to the gospel of Christ, and thus recieving the gospel and being saved, his life took a complete turn since then. He subsequently went to Bible School and ordained as pastor at Rhema Bible Church. 

As if his life is not a testimony on its own, Mabalane started a cell group for people in the entertainment industry and God has been working since then. Some of the celebrities he has led to Christ include, the late Kiernan "AKA" Forbes, Cassper Nyovest and most recently Black Coffee. 

The Gospel Life is celebrating this servant of God this week and pray that God will increase his level of influence to even more people.
